Dear Friend,
My role as international director with EAPTC encompasses various responsibilities, from online teaching/coaching to missionary travels for in-person mentoring. This includes providing pastoral support, strategic direction, and mentoring national directors leading EAPTC's global operations in their respective countries. I regularly convene with a small group of 7-10 national leaders for virtual meetings. During these sessions, we share personal and ministry updates and dedicate 1-2 hours to mutual encouragement and prayer. I believe virtual meetings are a game-changer for global missions, allowing us to engage with Christian leaders from anywhere in the world using current technology. Due to language barriers, Korean leaders convene separately with me once a month for prayers concerning EAPTC's mission. These prayer warriors now represent not only South Korea but also Korean diasporas in the U.K., U.S., and China, making for a fervent prayer time.Recently, I visited Vietnam to check on our leader, Pastor Q. His sacrificial and persistent ministry over the past five years among Vietnamese young professionals, in a country with limited religious freedom and constant governmental monitoring of church activities, has borne fruit. A vibrant congregation now exists, with numerous dynamic leaders working together to reach T city and beyond. Despite excessive heat warnings during my time in Vietnam, I thoroughly cherished the fellowship with emerging leaders.
In Bohol, the Open Bible seminar, a leadership training program of EAPTC Philippines, is thriving. Meanwhile, EAPTC India has planted several house churches in M city. They are still seeking a rental facility for Sunday services and weekly church activities. Some of our leaders in China are relentlessly facing challenges due to the government's post-pandemic regulations on house churches. They're in need of your prayers now more than ever. The work of EAPTC Africa continues to multiply, with more disciples being equipped and churches planted throughout the continent. Please continue to support the endeavors of our dedicated EAPTC gospel workers around the world.
Last but not least, here is a hard copy of the Spanish Missionary Candidate Training curriculum! I'm grateful that God has used and continues to use this resource to raise up missionaries and cross-cultural gospel workers in the Majority World. If you know someone in the Spanish-speaking world who could benefit from this training, please let me know, and I'll be delighted to send you the related information.
On a personal note, my father, who battled cancer, went to be with the Lord in January. God has been gracious throughout the funeral and memorial services. With three months left in our one-year sabbatical, God is guiding both Eunice and me regarding the next step in our ministry. Please keep praying with us. Eunice and I find great joy in moving forward with you for the cause of the Kingdom. Indeed, your prayers and generous contributions continue to bear fruit and reap harvests around the world. Thank you for obediently following the voice of the Lord and reaching the world with us.
Together for the nations,
Dr. Paul Lee (& Eunice)
